3) Naples, Florida
4) St. George, Utah

Four favortite foods:

3) Family blogs
4) *Update* There are too many good blogs to fit here. I'm just going to have to create a blogroll! (If I comment on your blog, consider yourself visited often)

Four places I’d rather be:
Hmm. I like where I’m at, thank you very much. But I wish you were here. (And you know who “you” are--don’t you?) However, I will give you

Four places I’d like to go:
1) Connecticut
2) Utah
3) Florida
4) Seattle

If you've read this far and haven't been tagged already--then you're it!

p.s. Anyone interested in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for our summer read? Make your opinion known. Other titles for your consideration--The Ladies' Auxilliary, Five Quarters of the Orange, or The Eyre Affair.

Did you know that there is a Lamppost Pizza in Texas? The owner is the brother of the Lamppost Pizza owner in California.

I think Pipi must have been the first foreign film I'd ever seen. I had completely forgotten about her. I may have to netflix her!
I would do Harry Potter. I've read 5 quarters, and really liked it, and Ladies', too.

Haha. I'm painfully familiar with U-hall in Des. Towers, Hobble Creek canyon, and Provo in general, but a pink house? Hmmm.... Sounds lovely...

The Eyre Affair is so clever and charming.

I looooved Pippi! Rented it a few weeks ago, but Emma and Becca weren't impressed. =P Neat Meme!

And The Eyre Affair sounds interesting...haven't heard of it...

Hello there~!
I am all about Harry P. I am almost done, but now I'm really trying to read it as slowly as humaly possible.
It must never end.

Ah, Pippi...it's been years...

As for the book, it can be anything, I'll read it!

Dedee said...

Um, does it count as summer reading if I've already read it twice?

Nice to see you!

And now you stand alone as the only woman in the entire world to list 'Fletch' as one of their favorite movies. Maybe you should get a special Chevy Chase Award for that.

Pippi, I am honored by your visit.

Suzanne,I feel sorry for the other 48 states.

Elizabeth, I'm deciding between Potter and The Eyre Affair (Jasper Fforde)

Brillig, it was lovely. I met my husband while living there.

Azucar, your endorsement is tipping the scales.

Kimberly, the first time I showed it no one was impressed. But my youngest boys kept putting it on and now the whole family is hooked on Pippi's kooky ways.

NCS, I know what you mean. Enjoy those lase chapters!

Wynne! Yea! Nice to see you. Hope your house is coming along.

Dedee, Sure it counts--double!

EWL, I had no idea. Is this a bad thing? Maybe I should be checked out. I'll have to ask Dr. Rosenrosen.

I almost forgot about "Oscar!" I loved that movie. Also, it sounds like the next time I come visit we will have to go to Lamppost Pizza and have brownies for dessert (with ice cream thank you very much).

Yum asparagus soup! I'll have to try that. I'm such a sucker for good soup. Now to convince Clark to take me... :)

Tyler, it's a deal!

Natalie, Thanks for visiting my blog =) I'm going to contact the restaurant and see if I can get the recipe. It is seriously out of this world!

Jen do you remember when Mom braided our hair with hangers so we looked like Pippi for Halloween? Those were the days.

I liked the book Pipi Longstocking quite a bit, it's a great one to read to small children to introduce them to chapter books.

I wanted to be (or thought I was) Pippi for a couple of years of my girlhood. Thanks for the memories.

And I've also had the job of domestic choas coordinator for many years now--it's underappreciated!

Jennifer B. said...

b. Cool--I love feeling connected.

Grateful, You're welcome.

Michelle, Yes! And the tradition lives on--my eldest did that for Halloween last year!

Karen, Pippi is pretty amazing--and you are so right about the job. It is WAY underappreciated!

Harry Potter was a great book! I would even read it again if I had the time. This summer has gone by so fast I can't believe it! But I'm little excited for school again.

Jen I LOVE your tag! Its fun to share good memories. Your stint in Hobble Crrek inspired me 13 years ago and I'm so glad, isn't it wonderful?! And I don't think you're crazy for loving Fletch, that movie is hilarious! Love you!

hi jen: how are you? thinking of you.

~blessings to you and your little family this day, kathleen/grateful

I, too am the domestic chaos coordinator around here - and I have to agree with Karen - it's a very underappreciated position. In fact, I think I might quit. There really are NO benefits...no overtime, no sickleave, no PAY , no RESPECT, no days off - EVER!!!! I really don't know what I was thinking to take it on in the first place.... ;)

request - can you one day do a blog in which you reveal your kids ages and sex. I am fascinated by large families!
