I drove by a local cemetery recently when my 5 year-old son observed, "That's the place where they put dead people." We pass this corner often and have had a few conversations about the people, flowers, and balloons we've seen there.

Suddenly he exclaimed, "I can't wait 'till I'm dead!"

Trying not to act surprised, I asked why. He replied, "Because then I can put flowers on myself."

I'm glad he doesn't think of death as the end. Neither do I.

"as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive"
1 Corinthians 15:22

Happy Easter. I hope yours was memorable.

Ha! That's something to look forward to that I hadn't thought about. When it's time to be dead, BE DEAD IN STYLE! Get your flowers, your whirligigs, your...additional flowers!
