Treading Water

That's what I feel like I am doing. I have been wearing my Cub Scout Treasurer hat for the last few days and it is exhausting--we are $100.00 short for our current fundraiser. I am not a CPA and crunching numbers makes me crazy so my blog (and my life) is on hold and I will hopefully return soon to respond to Eve's tag. (Sorry Eve.)

Excuse me while I go scream.

***Update*** The missing funds and booklets were found! Hooray! One more item to cross off my "To Stress About" list. *Whew*

If I become treasurer for ANYTHING heaven help us! I feel so bad for you! This is why my husband does finances in our house.
Don't worry about the MEME, take your time!

I think its time to have a Giant Blow Out Boy Scout Sale to raise the missing money. Every Boy Scout must go! No reasonable offer refused!

Thanks Toni!

You are so nice Eve. Thank you.

Kimberly, I'm sure I'll get through it, but sanity? Sometimes I wonder, what is that?

Thank you Karen.

Rebecca, thanks for your permission, "AGHHHHHHHHHHH!" Much better =)

Grateful, thank you, but I am afraid it is a matter of missing booklets which we will have to pay for if they don't turn up soon. Thanks anyway, I know you mean it.

EWL, best suggestion yet!

Have the booklets turned up yet? If thinks work at your house the way they work at mine, as soon as you fork over th $100 to pay for them, and the BSA cashes your check, the booklets will turn up in your garden, the 'donate' pile, the freezer in the garage, you get the idea.... ;)

Wow, having just been in Cub scouts and never knew there was a need for a "cub scouts treasurer". You must have a motivated group.

Are you still treading?

Screaming?

Good luck!

We're still missing 8 booklets(worth $10.00 each), but I'm hopeful we will find them or get parents to make a donation. We'll see!
